Upgrade at Severn Trent Water, Melton Mowbray
Our work with Severn Trent’s upgrade at Melton Mowbray is now complete. Working for Southern and Redfern Industrial Solutions, the six-week project saw the successful installation of 20,000m of power, control and instrument cable installed for multiple mixers, valves, pumps and monitors on three new huge aeration lanes.
Working at the Renishaw Factory, Miskin, South Wales
The site is undergoing a £50m 400,000 sq ft expansion. Our project with Renishaw involved the installation of almost 10,000m of power cable for the supply of new solar panels, busbars, distribution boards, car chargers and street lighting.
Working for AESSEAL on its “Factory of the Future” in Rotherham
A recent project for an award-winning company. Work involved 25 x 120mm 4cores plus other size LV’s,supplying multiple busbars and distribution boards at the site. The site will include £5.8M of ‘green-only’ investment, inc solar panels, battery storage, and other energy-saving measures.
Park Holidays – Silver Sands at Lossiemouth
Silver Sands is a stunning seaside holiday park on the beautiful Moray Firth coast. We executed a 250 metre site infrastructure upgrade and installation of LV Power supply for this new leisure facility in Scotland.
Sonoco Recycling, Halifax
Sonoco Recycling offers a broad range of waste management services throughout Europe. This project involved HV Cable installation to feed the main supply to a new recycling press and various HV 11KV cables at various lengths in trench and duct, from the main distribution board to a new machine.
Ford’s transmission facility at Halewood, Merseyside
Ford have invested £230 million in transforming this site which safeguards the Ford jobs at Halewood. We installed almost 4.5km of 1c 400mm 33kv and control cable for a new substation. It will be Ford’s first electric vehicle component in-house assembly site in Europe with production beginning in 2024.
MEG Bottling Plant – 50,000 Sq Metre Site
A 20,000 metre installation of LV 240mm four core cable at the £50 million MEG bottling plant in Derbyshire. The plant which bottles for supermarket giant Lidl, created over 160 jobs.
Card Factory in Wakefield – EV Charging Stations
Excavation, ducting, reinstating and LV Cable installation works. Seventy metres of trench ducted and then reinstated. Pulled in 35m of 4c 35mm XLPE cable and diverted another cable to feed the car charging stations.
Amazon Deeside – LV Cable Installation
LV cable installation for a new extension at Amazon’s 9,000 square metre ‘last mile’ delivery station on The Airfields site in Sealand, on Deeside.
